TRS Announced First List Of Candidates

The ruling TRS has announced its first list of candidates for the elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Friday.Out of 150 seats names for sixty divisons were announced today.Party leader and Rajya Sabha member K. Keshava Rao announced the names in the press meet. Out of 60 ; TRS allotted 24 seats to BC's,16 for minorities and 5 for SC’S.
The party is likely to release the second and final list on Saturday, a day before the deadline for filing nominations. Ministers K.T. Rama Rao, Kadiyam Srihari and A. Indrakaran Reddy were involved in the selection of candidates.
Meanwhile the recently announced survey results turned shocker to TRS. According to AC Nielson Survey TRS will be winning anywhere between 45 to 55 seats out of the 150.As the situations not favoring them TRS has decided to field people of Seemandhra origin in certain divisions in order to reach each and every section in the metropolitan city. The second list is likely to comprise many ‘Settlers’ names.
