TRS Bags Warangal & Khammam Corporations

The winning streak of the ruling TRS continued in the elections of Warangal, Khammam Municipal Corporations . The counting of the votes was completed just while ago and the ruling party has bagged the two corporations. TRS has won 44 out of 58 seats in Warangal while Congress bag four, BJP one and others won nine seats. Some of the independents who won the seats are TRS rebels.
In Khammam Corporation the ruling party grabbed 34 seats out of 50, and Congress won 10 wards, YRS Congress managed to won two and others four out of 50 in the corporation. Surprisingly TDP failed to secure a single seat. This was the first election after the formation of Khammam Municipal Corporation Achampet municipality was 100 percent one-sided. TRS grabbed all the 20 wards.
Celebrations broke out in all the three places. Elated TRS workers lit fireworks and took victory rallies.
