TRS faces internal trouble in Munugode
X
Problems are mounting for the TRS in Munugode, which is going for bypolls soon. While the BJP has put up strongman, sitting MLA and veteran politician Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy as its Congress, the TRS is still a divided house. It is undecided about its candidate. With both Congress and BJP announcing their candidates, the TRS is the only major party that has not announced its candidate as yet.

There is growing resentment against incharge minister for bypoll Jagadeesh Reddy. Already, Borla Narsaiah Goud, who is aspiring for the party ticket, has come out into the open criticizing the minister. Now, former MLA and locally popular TRS leader Karne Prabhakar too has criticized Jagadeesh Reddy's handling of the situation in Munugode.

Prabhakar, who too wants to contest from Munugode, feels that minister Reddy's efforts are counter-productive. He has said that despite being a founder of the TRS youth wing and despite being a former MLA, he is not getting an invitation to the party programmes. He said that there is a deliberate attempt to sideline him.

This shows that all is not well in the ruling TRS in Munugode. With both Karne and Boorla Narsaiah Goud raising a banner of revolt against minister Jagadeesh Reddy, things are not looking as rosy as they should be in poll-bound Munugode. Many feel it's about time that KCR should step in and set the house in order.
