TRS Finally Suspends Lawyer-Couple's Killer

Finally, at long last, days after the gruesome murder of advocate couple Gattu Vaman Rao and Nagamani, the man accused of killing them has been removed from the ruling TRS. On Friday, the party has issued orders suspending Kunta Srinivas from the party. Interestingly, it is only a suspension and not a dismissal from the party.
Kunta Srinivas is A 2 in the broad daylight hacking of the lawyer couple. The couple was hacked to death in full public view and Kunta Srinivas was very much seen hacking them. In fact, in his death declaration, Vaman Rao mentioned the name of Kunta Srinivas. Ever since, the party has been facing blame for not acting on him. Responding to the state-wide protests, the ruling TRS caved in and suspended Kunta Srinivas from the party. Currently, Srinivas is president of the TRS unit of Manthani mandal. Srinivas is already under arrest. Srinivas is a known former Naxal and was involved in several cases against him, including a murder and a bank loot case. Vaman Rao and Srinivas have long-standing disputes over village lands and temple administration in their native village.
Strangely, barely a couple of hours before committing the murder, Kuntla Srinivas was part of the cake-cutting ceremony on the occasion of the birthday of KCR. The photos of Srinivas cutting the cake have gone viral.
