TRS keeps tab on Etela backers in party

The ruling TRS is trying to ensure that no one accompanies Etela Rajender when he resigns from the TRS. He is set to resign from the MLA post and simultaneously announce his joining of the BJP. The TRS suspects that at least some leaders will accompany Etela. It wants to minimize the number and also ensure that no big name accompanies him.
As a part of it, the party leaders are keeping a tab on the movement of former Yellareddy MLA Enugu Ravinder Reddy. He is said to be one leader who is constantly in touch with Etela. He had personally gone over to Huzurabad and met Etela. Ravinder Reddy is one of the founding members of the party and did not leave the party even during the troubled times. He is a four-time MLA. This time around, he lost to Congress candidate Jajala Surender. In the later developments, Surender joined the TRS.
Since then, Ravinder has been feeling marginalized and ignored. He has expressed his dissatisfaction to his colleagues and local party leaders. However, the party leadership did not try to rehabilitate him. Hence, he is a disgruntled man and is likely to accompany Etela Rajender into the BJP. The TRS is keeping a close tab on his moves and is trying to dissuade him. Some mediators are said to be talking to him to pressurize him to remain in the party.
