GHMC Elections: All Eyes On Women Aspirants From Political Families!

After the Telangana State Election Commission (SEC) announced the election schedule for the much anticipated GHMC elections the political temperature has increased at once.
Out of the 150 divisions in the GHMC region, ex-officio voters play a crucial role in the civic body elections. The ex-officio voters could be a deciding factor in the polls.
The chances of winning the civic body polls for the ruling TRS are very high as the party has as many as 38 ex-officio members, the highest for any political parties in the state.
It is believed that TRS which is in a comfortable position in the elections, might field a woman candidate from the well-known political families as their mayor candidate in GHMC elections.
Though there are several aspirants from politically influential families. The likes of former Home Minister late Nayani Narasimha Reddy's daughter, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav's daughter-in-law, and PJR's daughter P Vijaya Reddy are gaining all the limelight.
It is interesting to know, which woman candidate will be projected as Mayor candidate for the GHMC election out of the aspirants, who hail from famous political background families.
