Why These MLA Candidates Want Police Help?

Most TRS candidates in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district are appealing to the police to provide them protection. The party candidates are sending petition after petition to the police to provide them with security. No... it's not because of the fear of Naxals or Maoists. They want police protection to enter into the villages of their constituency.
The TRS candidates, who have not visited several villages in their own constituency during the last four an a half years, are now facing stiff opposition from the people. In several villages, the locals are asking the MLAs not to enter into the villages as they have not visited the village even once. When Bhuvanagiri TRS candidate and sitting MLA Pailla Sekhar Reddy went to Pochampally to inaugurate government works recently, the locals strongly opposed them and turned them back. In Munugode constituency, sitting MLA K Prabhakar Reddy virtually clashed with the people, when they shouted slogans against him. Tungaturthi TRS candidate Gadari Kishore Kumar is already in trouble for trying to use official machinery to campaign. The Election Commission has served him with a notice. He is also said to be finding it very difficult to enter into the villages.
All these MLA candidates are now seeking police help to enter into the villages. The locals are strongly opposing them as they have not bothered to visit the village even once during their MLA term. When these MLAs are going to the villages, even TRS workers are not willing to accompany them for fear of backlash from the locals. So, the MLAs want the police to help them to enter into the villages.
