TRS MLA In Big Trouble, Opposition says Weavers Sentiment Hurt!
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 Oct 2022 11:53 AM GMTThe TRS is giving a good push to the handlooms to provide more opportunities for the weavers' community. To show its pro-ideology towards the handlooms the ruling party is even trying to target the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party on the GST imposed on the handlooms.
While the TRS, which is now BRS is busy fighting for the weaver community, an MLA spoiled the party's plans as he landed in big trouble. The actions of the TRS MLA are dubbed as disrespecting the weavers' community and the community members tried to stage a protest.
As per the media reports, Warangal East MLA Nannapuneni Narender reportedly placed his legs on the maggam. The picture is now all over social media platforms and the opposition parties are breathing fire on the MLA.
The opposition parties are alleging that the MLA disrespected the weavers' community and he should apologize for his mistake. A few weavers reportedly tried to stage a protest against the MLA and the cops spoiled their protest.
The time of the alleged protest is not what the TRS likes. It is busy campaigning for the Munugode bypolls and trying to be in the good books of the weavers. At this time the MLA reportedly placed his leg on the maggam.
However, the supporters of the ruling party say that the picture is a morphed one and that the opposition parties are promoting the morphed picture for their political gains.
