TRS MLAs face heat over unfulfilled promises

As the urban local bodies elections are approaching, the TRS MLAs are facing heat from the general public and the voters. The voters are questioning the MLAs about the promises they made during the assembly elections and as to what happened them. Unable to fulfil the demands, several MLAs have not been visiting their constituencies. Now with the elections approaching, they are forced to go to the voters and are unable to face the electorate's questions.
Issues like allotment of double-bed room houses remain unfulfilled and promised road laying works have remained a pipe dream. Citing lack of funds, the government has not released money to the MLAs to take up developmental works. As a result, these MLAs are unable to face the voters. However, in constituencies like Siddipet, Gajwel and Sircilla, there seems to be no dearth of funds. Several works have been taken up in these constituencies. For instance, Gajwel, the constituency that CM KCR represents, is developed into a model constituency. But, the other constituencies are languishing.
So the MLAs are wary of visiting their constituencies and meet the voters. They know they have a lot to answer. But, since they are made responsible for the party's victory in the urban polls, they are finding ways and means to reachout to the voters through the backdoors.
