TRS Monitoring Legislators' Movements After Poaching Incident?
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Nov 2022 7:43 AM GMTTelangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao aka KCR's recent party meeting has increased the political heat as he said there will be no early polls and the elections will be held as per the schedule. KCR also directed the legislators to work hard for the party.
KCR came down severely on the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party on its alleged poaching trials and even alleged that the party sent feelers to even take Kavitha to its side. Giving this as an example the Chief Minister warned the legislators that such efforts might be made more as the saffron party can go to any extent.
Talking about the ED and CBI raids KCR assured the legislators that there is nothing to worry about and reportedly told them that if they feel any pressure they are free to inform him. This should be seen as a great assurance to the leaders.
Shedding light on the MLAs poaching issue the Chief Minister is said to have told the legislators that he is having an eye on them and he is aware of what the legislators are doing and whom they are meeting. I know the incoming and outgoing phone calls and I will know if you meet anyone secretly, he said.
The TRS boss also said that he is aware of all these things and he will take strict action against those leaders. Surprisingly he made these comments addressing the legislators of the party who are holding various positions. The legislators were shocked to hear these comments reportedly.
It appears like the TRS government became alert with the alleged MLAs poaching incident and doesn't want to see any unwanted scenes. That's why the party is closely monitoring the moves and meetings of its legislators. Though the Bharatiya Janata Party is not in a strong position like Maharashtra to topple the government, the threat cannot be ignored.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is aggressively targeting the ruling TRS with just three MLAs in the Assembly house. If the saffron party can have 10 to 15 MLAs then the attack will be aggressive. This will be a headache for the ruling party.
