This TRS MP Is Proving To Be 'Thorn In Flesh' For KCR

That D Srinivas is among the cleverest politicians is never in doubt. He is in the TRS, but has great relations still with the Congress Party and his son Aravind Dharmapuri is a BJP MP. D Srinivas is a TRS MP in Rajya Sabha but is at loggerheads with the party boss KCR. In fact, KCR's daughter and former Nizamabad MP Kavitha Kalwakuntla lodged a complaint against him in the past with KCR himself. D Srinivas never replied to the allegations, but ensured that Kavitha loses to his son from Nizamabad in the Lok Sabha elections.
Recently he met BJP national president Amit Shah in Delhi. This has created a huge commotion in the TRS. The party cadre is up in arms against him. But, DS merely laughed them off saying that Amit Shah is also the Union Home Minister and that he had met him only in that capacity. Then, he asked the TRS leaders saying that if they feel he had done something wrong, why they are not taking any action against him. He further teased them saying that he had met Amit Shah in the Home Minister's office and not in BJP office.
In an indirect challenge to KCR, he said those criticising him should first know the facts and then criticise. If they want, they can take action against me, he said. Now, that's clever politics. Wily DS is now giving a lesson or two to KCR in how one can be a thorn in the flesh and torment all the time.
