OMG: Telangana Govt Opposes SCS To AP!

In the past few months, Telangana CM KCR, IT Minister KTR and Nizamabad MP Kavitha had made statements favouring Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh. However, A Statement made by TRS Parliamentary Party Leader Today exposed the true colours.
On the second day of Monsoon Session, MP Vinod maintained Telangana Government would extend support only for the implementation of promises in the AP Reorganisation Act 2014. 'Special Category Status isn't part of the Bifurcation Act. We would oppose any incentives offered to AP if they aren't covered in the Act. According Special Status for AP would hurt neighboring states. Jayalalithaa had written to the Union Government opposing Special Category Status,' he pointed out.
Telanganites are ready to support Andhra when it comes to AP Reorgansation Act 2014 as it's beneficial for them as well but doesn't want the neighboring state to receive Special Category Status. Whereas, TRS Leaders pretended all the days as if they are in favour of SCS to AP. This is something Andhrites have never expected from a tall leader like KCR. Such a situation wouldn't have come had if AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to the initiative and convinced KCR about the necessity of SCS for the capital-less state.
