TRS municipal chairperson's husband arrested for role in Bodhan communal riots

Now the cat is out of the bag!! It was the TRS which funded, rooted, promoted and wanted a Shivaji Statue in a key junction of Bodhan town.
While the BJP was being blamed for the communal tensions in Bodhan over the installation of the statue of the Hindu icon, it is actually the TRS which is behind the whole controversy. Municipal chairperson Padmavathi's husband and TRS leader Sharat Reddy has since been taken into custody and sent in remand.
It may be recalled that a section of the citizens objected to the installation of Shivaji's statue in Bodhan. This led to stone pelting between two communities. TRS and the Majlis blamed the BJP for the communal strife. Section 144 was imposed and several BJP leaders were arrested in this connection.
But now it turns out that Sharat Reddy was in cahoots with the Shiv Sena. In fact, he and Shiv Sena leader Gopi were in touch throughout the installation of the statue.
Sharat Reddy called up Gopi several times over his mobile. In fact, he ordered the statue of Shivaji and has even planned the installation. But, with the minorities objecting to Shivaji statue, communal tensions began and the TRS conveniently blamed the BJP>
The matter came to light when Shiv Sena leader Gopi surrendered to the police. He spilled the beans and Sharat Reddy was arrested. This has now became a huge embarrassment for the TRS. Even KCR tried to blame the BJP for the incident, but now it turns that his own partymen were behind the statue installation.
