TRS never won from this constituency till date!!

Secunderabad .. This is one constituency which is a huge headache for the BRS boss. The party has never won the Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency in any election so far. Since its inception, the TRS (now BRS) has never emerged victorious from this constituency. Either the Congress or the BJP has registered a victory.
What is more disconcerting for the party is that it does not have a strong candidate. The current MP is G Kishan Reddy, who is also the Union Minister for Tourism, culture and North East affairs. Earlier, the seat was held by the likes of Bandaru Dattatreya and PV Rajeshwar Rao. In the 2019 elections, Minister Thalasani Srinivas Yadav's son Saikiran was made the TRS candidate.
Thalasani himself took the overall responsibility of the election campaign but Kishan Reddy still managed to trounce Saikiran with a handsome margin. The situation has come to such a pass that the party does not have a credible candidate to contest from Secunderabad LS seat this time.
This time, Kishan Reddy will again contest from this seat in the 2024 elections and the contest is going to be between the BJP and the TRS. Will the TRS give the party ticket once again to Thalasani Saikiran or will it look for another candidate. One needs to wait till 2024 for an answer to this question.
