TRS Ropes in I-PAC: Is it For Assembly or Lok Sabha Polls?
X
Things have changed in the Political arena of Telangana at once. As an unexpected development, both opposition parties Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party have gained strength in the state. Though the seats the parties gave are very few, they cannot be taken for granted. In the recent by-polls Congress and BJP gave a tough fight, while BJP won a few.

As the political experts predict that TRS is likely to have a tough time in the forthcoming general elections, reports emerged that talks are underway between the ruling party and political consultant I-PACto chalk out a contract.

Now it is said that the TRS had signed a deal with the firm and the meetings between both sides that lasted for two consecutive days turned fruitful. However, it is unknown if the contract was made for the forthcoming polls or the bigger target, the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. On the other hand, Prashant Kishor is also not leading IPAC.

Prashant Kishor has a stunning record as a political strategist. He had worked with Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal and Stalin in Tamil Nadu and both parties had won the polls by defeating the BJP. As Prashant Kishor is also against BJP, he is working with like-minded parties. Now he is looking at turning into a full-time politician. He is holding talks with the Congress party and Sonia Gandhi is yet to take a final call on taking Prashant Kishor into the party.

With many parties like TMC(West Bengal), DMK(Tamil Nadu) TRS turning against the BJP, the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections have turned interesting. Prashant Kishor is likely to play a key role in the polls. Despite him leaving the strategist post, experts say that he might come in handy in giving key suggestions.

As Telangana Chief Minister KCR is also having eyes on national politics, it will be interesting to see how he can play a key role. He has already met a few Chief Ministers who are against the BJP. He might take their support and lead an alternative force at the centre level. All these points raise one question, did I-PAC was roped in for Assembly Polls or Lok Sabha Polls?
