As a surprising move, YSR's daughter YS Sharmila who is a big name in Andhra Pradesh forayed into Telangana politics and wants to try her luck. For that, Sharmila is using the successful idea of her late father YSR, Padayatra. She is touring the state aggressively.
When Sharmila has high hopes of winning the polls, Telangana IT Minister KTR surprised everyone with his take on the impact of YS Sharmila in the polls in the state. TRS Working President KTR called for a press meet earlier today and took some interesting questions.
When KTR was asked about the impact Sharmila would have in the polls, the Cabinet Minister said that Sharmila would have an impact in two districts in the Assembly polls.
Though Sharmila is hoping to translate the YSR's sympathizers' support into votes, there are a few actors that would turn against her. Telangana is a state that was formed on the basis of the culture and interests of the Telangana people.
Sharmila's father YSR was against the formation of the state and he even asked if it needed any passport to reach Hyderabad from Andhra Pradesh. The political parties often target Sharmila on the same issue.
