TRS Targets Only BJP Encroachments In Warangal

The recent floods have opened a can of worms in Warangal. With over 120 colonies under water for over 10 days, the people are asking questions as to who is to be blamed for this disaster. The BJP has been very vocal about the encroachments on the nalas, channels and water tanks and has tried to put the TRS on the dock.
Not to be undone, the TRS retaliated by targeting the houses and other building complexes built by some BJP leaders on nalas and tanks and began demolishing them. Interestingly, the officials are ignoring the illegal encroachments done by the TRS leaders. For instance, the BJP is questioning the inaction on the camp office built by a TRS leader on the lands belonging to the famed Bhadrakali Cheruvu. Similarly, the Peddamma Gadda Nala is under encroachment for the last 40 years.
Even current MP and some MLAs are also accused of being hand in glove with the encroachers. The encroachments have gone up during the TRS regime, alleged the opposition. Instead of addressing the real issues, the parties have started playing the blame game. Meanwhile, the people continue to suffer.
