TRS using Corona restrictions to stop Sharmila's Sabha?

Citing Corona restrictions, the much-touted public meeting of YS Sharmila has been denied permission. The police, who initially gave permission to hold a massive public meeting, have now said that the permission has been cancelled. However, the followers of YS Sharmila are defiant and have said that the meeting would be held as per the schedule.
YS Sharmila is planning to hold a public meeting on April 9 in Khammam with over one lakh people attending it. The name of her party and her plan of action are set to be announced in that meet. However, the police have now cancelled the permission due to corona scare. However, her supporters feel that this is a deliberate attempt to silence her. They point out that the TRS is worried over the growing popularity of Sharmila. They also claim that of late, Sharmila has been criticising the TRS and its policies. This must have rankled the TRS and it may have directed the police not to give permission to the meeting.
On their part, Sharmila's supporters are going ahead with the preparations for the meeting and are mobilising supporters in a big way. They are holding district wise mobilisation meetings to ensure a good turnout at the meeting.
