Will God save TRS?

The TRS was not it was after it went in for snap polls. The party is now jittery that a gathering storm of discontent could unseat it from power. It is finding that despite disunity, the Opposition is gaining in strength by each passing day and the going could be tough for the TRS candidates. Who to turn to - to salvage the situation?
The TRS feels God alone will save it. So, it has turned to the God. Some smart Alec in the TRS has hit upon a brilliant idea. Why not make the villagers take pledge to support the TRS? Eager party lapped up the idea and has begun going to masjids, churches and Ganesh Pandals to make the people to take a pledge in front of the deity that they would vote for the TRS only.
A teacher from washermen community made the people from his community to take a pledge that they will support to TRS candidate Jeevan Reddy. This video has gone viral on the social media. On Monday, Minister Mahender Reddy made Muslims take a pledge in a mosque in Tandur that they would support the TRS. The Muslims took the pledge in the name of Allah . The TRS has also made the youth at several Ganesh pandals to pledge their support to the ruling TRS.
Reports from interior Telangana say that similar pledges are being organized at various places. But, in democracy, the people is the 'God.' As they say, Janatha is Janardhan. That being the case, why go to any other God?
