The latest move of Donald Trump is the blockage of Chinese Mobile into the American Market. On Monday, US Government issued an order recommending blocking of China Mobile (HK: 0941) from offering services to the US Telecommunications Market citing national security risks.
An order has been passed to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) asking it to deny permission for China Mobile's 2011 application to establish telecommunication services between the US and Other Nations. Notably, China Mobile is the World's largest telecom network with 899 million subscribers.
This move could be seen as a trade war between Washington and Beijing. US is all set to impose high taxation on Chinese goods worth #34 billion on July 6th. China is getting ready to respond in a similar manner in case of American Goods.
