The Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao-led Telangana government announced that wearing facemask is mandatory in public places and workplaces as well. Anyone who floats the restrictions will be slapped with a fine.

According to the Government Order(GO) no 69, no public celebrations and gatherings will not be permitted for the festivals like Shab-e-Barat, Holi, Ugadi, Rama Navami, Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Ramzan, and others.
