TSRTC makes good fortunes for Sankranthi season!

People working in big cities for their jobs use public transport to reach their native places to stay with their loved ones for the festive season. To encash the demand, the officials make elaborate arrangements.
The Sankranthi season had worked for the state-owned Telangana State Road Transport Corporation(TSRTC) as the transport corporation had made good fortunes with the festive season.
It is said that TSRTC pocketed more than Rs 100 crore as profits for the Sankranthi season. Around 55 lakh passengers used the TSRTC services for their commute during the festive season.
Instead of increasing the bus fares for the festive season, the TSRTC made required measures like increasing the bus count. More than 4,000 buses were deployed additionally in addition to the existing services.
TSRTC became close to the public thanks to the steps taken by TSRTC MD Sajjanar. He didn't leave any stone unturned to make the transport corporation close to the public. On the eve of New Year, TSRTC ran special buses for the alcohol lovers to use for their commute to stop them from driving vehicles after having drinks.
