TSRTC workers eagerly waiting for February month salaries!

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) staff has been facing issues with the delay in getting their paychecks for the month of February. The salaries for the staff are expected to get delayed even further.
The salaries got delayed with the state Finance Ministry not releasing the due funds it was supposed to release, media reports claimed.
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) pays salaries for the staff from the funds, the Telangana government releases every month. The salaries were delayed for January month too.
The TSRTC employees' unions are requesting the Transport Corporation to pay the salaries for the employees as soon as possible, They said that they have received the salaries on the 12th in the previous month.
The employees are claiming that compared to the lockdown period, the TSRTC has been registering profits through its operations. Over the past two weeks, TSRTC has gained a profit of over 100 crores.
On the other hand, the TSRTC employees have been pushing the unions to bat for the amendment in their pay scales. They wanted the Transport Corporation to increase their salaries.
The TSRTC employees' unions have been pushing for the idea to have elections to pave way for the workers' unions in the transport corporation. The trade union is planning for Chalo Bus Bhavan on the 26th of this month.
