After a powerful earthquake of 7.4 magnitude hit he coast of Fukushima in Japan at 6 AM on Tuesday, A Tsunami warning has been issued by the Meteorological Agency. This news shocked the people of Japan and they have recalled the memories of the deadly 2011 quake.

While the ground is still shaking, A Tsunami was was issued from the coastline. The tremors which lasted for several minutes had really shaken the citizens. People in the low-lying areas in Fukushima and Miyagi were forced to evacuate as small Tsunami waves hit the shore. Initially, The waves were expected to be 3m (10 feet) at the north-east Pacific coast.

In a major relief to the Japanese people, Meteorological Agency has called off the Tsunami warning after few hours. However, People were cautioned about the rise of sea level. They were asked to avoid fishing, swimming and any marine activities for some time.
