TTD To Build Temples Across The Country
By: Tupaki Desk | 28 Aug 2020 12:29 PM GMTThe Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) review meeting chaired by TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy took a crucial call on the cleansing ceremony Brahmotsvalu, which is popularly known as Srivari Brahmotsavalu.
Given the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, TTD decided to conduct the Brahmotsavalu inside the temple itself as the ceremony cannot be conducted at the Thiru Mada Veedhi.
TTD Chairman said that temples will be constructed across the nation as a bid to spread the glory of Lord Sri Venkateshwara Swamy.
"As part of this, a temple will be built at Mumbai. We asked land from the government to build a temple ain Kashi. once we get land we will go ahead with the construction works. With the virus outbreak, construction works were halted," TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy said.
The meeting was conducted through a video conference at the Annamayya Bhavan in Tirupati.TTD Executive Officer (EO) Anil Kumar, TTD trust board members Govind Hari, Siva Kumar, Joint Executive Officer (JEO) Basant Kumar, HDPP members Subbarao, Penchalaiah and HDPP secretary Rajagopalan took part in the meeting.
