TTV Dhinakaran Launches A New Party!

Tamil Nadu is witnessing dramatic political developments ever since Amma Jayalalithaa passed away. Kamal Haasan already floated a new party 'Makkal Needhi Maiam'. Rajinikanth is going to announce his party name and manifesto soon. Meanwhile, rebel AIADMK leader and RK Nagar MLA TTV Dhinakaran launched his new party today.

It is known that TTV Dhinakaran is the nephew of VK Sasikala(Chinnamma). His group has 18 MLAs and his win at the RK Nagar bypoll has stunned the ruling AIADMK. Today, Dhinakaran has launched his new party Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam(AMMK) in Melur, Madurai. He also unveiled the party flag that consists of black-white-red colours with Amma image on the flag.

On the occasion of his party launch, he demanded the resignations of CM E. Palanisamy and Deputy CM Panneer Selvam. He warned that they don't have the moral right to rule the state. He said that 18 MLAs disqualification case is in the court now, once the judgment is out he will see the end of the Palanisamy government.

He has already approached Delhi High Court to allot the pressure cooker symbol to his party on which he contested the RK Nagar bypoll. The High Court made a suggestion to the Election Commission to allot pressure cooker symbol to his party AMMK.

TTV Dhinakaran faction has fought for getting AIADMK party name and two leaves symbol earlier but they couldn't get them. There was a case registered on Dhinakaran that he tried to bribe Rs.50 crores to the Election Commission officials for the party name and symbol. Dhinakaran expressed his confidence that he will come out of the case clean.
