Turbonator calls retirement from all formats of Cricket

After representing India for more than two decades across the platforms, veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh had decided to bid goodbye to the gentlemenâs game. The ace player who was a member of the team that went on to win the T 20 World Cup and 50-over World Cup announced the decision to quit the game.
With a poetic post, Harbhajan Singh aka Turbonator said he is quitting the beautiful journey of 23 years and took the opportunity to announce his retirement decision. Mr. Singh announced the decision to leave the game from all the formats of the game. He attached a video to his Twitter handle.
"All good things come to an end and today as I bid adieu to the game that has given me everything in life, I would like to thank everyone who made this 23-year-long journey beautiful and memorable. My heartfelt thank you. Grateful," his tweet reads.
Harbhajan Singh has been staying out of international cricket for quite some time. It's been more than five years since he represented India on an international stage. Back in 2016, he played the Asia Cup and represented India in the 50 overs and the longer format of the game in 2015 for the last time.
His bowling action was one of the most imitated actions in India and he will be signing off from the game with a stunning record by stepping down as the second-highest wicket-taker for India across the formats with 707 wickets.
