TV Actress attacked in Day Light

TV Actress Loveleen Kaur has been attacked by three men in Mumbai in broad day light, raising question on the safety of women in the country.
On Wednesday, Loveleen Kaur was travelling in a auto-rickshaw when a man snatched her purse and run away. The actress got down from the vehicle and began chasing the thief. After sometime, two more people joined the robber and began assaulting her. She shouted for help, but none of the onlookers bothered to come to her rescue and remained as a silent spectators. Cops who were at a nearby distance heard her cries and rushed to the spot. Two of the accused have been taken into custody and the third person is still absconding.
Loveleen Kaur has sustained minor bruises in the incident. This incident gained prominence as it happened just few days after the gang-rape of a 22-year-old photojournalist in Mumbai.
