TV Anchor's Question led to Surgical Strike

For Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar disclosed that an insulting question by a TV Anchor to Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore after the 2015 Anti-Insurgency Operation across the Myanmar border motivated him to plan Surgical Strikes at Line-of-Control (LoC) last year.
Manohar Parrikar who is currently the chief minister of Goa revealed Surgical Strikes were planned 15 months in advance. He felt insulted when a petty terror organization (NSCN-K) having 200 members killed 18 Jawans by attacking Indian Army convoy in Chandel district of Manipur on June 4th, 2015. Immediately, Defence Minister held discussions with Army Officials. Following which surgical strike was conducted on June 8th along India-Mynmar border and 70-80 terrorists were killed. None of the Indian soldiers were injured and helicopters were only used as stand by in this operation.
Post this successful Surgical Strike, A TV Anchor asked Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore who is an ex-Army Official, 'Do you have the courage and capability of carrying out surgical strike on the western front (PoK)?'. That's when Parrikar decided he would answer the question when the time arrives. Surgical Strike on September 29th last year was actually planned on June 9th, 2015. Necessary equipment was procured and troops were trained to carry out the operation successfully. Swathi Weapon Locating Radar, which was a creation of DRDO, was used for the first time to locate firing units of Pakistan Army. As many as 40 firing units were destroyed during the Surgical Strike.
Manohar Parrikar, however, didn't disclose the identity of the Anchor who posed the question to Union Minister. Of course, Media willn't find it difficult to know the answer as the interview might be still available for viewing.
