Hero's Wife Tweet On Ravi Shankar Creates Furor

Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna, Wife of star hero Akshay Kumar is an avid user of social media and always known for her humorous tweets. The actress had earned the ire of Art of living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar fans for her joke about the spiritual guru.

On Sunday, Twinkle tweeted about Sri Sri. The tweet read: "Sri Sri got his nobel foot and half beard stuck in his mouth in a yogic pose that Baba Ramdev perfected a while ago #HolyMenAndHairyTales

Within minutes the tweet became famously controversial and she deleted the tweet and said her comments are not meant to hurt any. After she made the tweet Darshak Hathi, the International Director of the Art of Living Foundation threatened to boycott her husband's upcoming film.

"Millions of followers r going 2 boycott #Houseful3 4 hurting the sentiments by inappropriate and ill intended comments f @mrsfunnybones on Sri Sri." He wrote

Twinkle Khanna who is known for her tough nature replied to Darshak saying "Didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings was meant to be a joke and am old enough to accept an error of judgement on my part. Art of living teacher practising Art of intimidation? Didn't like my joke diss me-drag my husband,boycott etc #Shame"

Several twitter users came out in support of Twinkle Khanna.
