On January 2nd this year, Two Women identified as Bindu Ammini and Kanaka Durga who are in their early 40s had the darshan of Lord Ayyappa at Sabarimala. It took 96 Days for the Kerala Government to uphold the order passed by the Supreme Court.

However, A huge controversy erupted over the entry of Women under the age of 50 into Sabarimala Temple. Based on the video footage captured at a hotel in last month (December 31st), Hindu Outfits have been alleging Bindu and Kanaka Durga weren't even Ayyappa Devotees. In the video footage, Both the Women were found in civil dress instead of black clothes preferred during Ayyappa Deeksha.

Tension Prevailed in Kerala following the release of CCTV Footage. Violent Incidents have been reported in several areas in the state. BJP, RSS and Other Hindi Outfits have been leading the agitation. Several Government Buses have been damaged by the Protestors.

Ayyappa Devotees has been blaming Kerala Government for allowing two Women who hadn't even taken up deekshas into the Hill Shrine.
