Fearing for lives, people are exploring ways to leave the country. Recently, more than 600 people had fitted themselves into a US aircraft to flee Afghanistan as soon as possible.
Two people who hail from Telugu land have stuck in Afghanistan and are waiting for help to return to home land.
One Bommana Rajanna, who works at a company in Kabul city had booked tickets to return India. He was supposed to board the flight in 18th of this month. But the nation was captured by the Taliban troops.
Rajanna who belongs to Mancherial in Telangana has aksed his employer in Kabul city to arrange for his tickets. All the arrangements were made and days ahead of his travel, the leadership was changed in Afghanistan.
Same is the case with one Penchala Venkanna who was also stuck in Afghanistan. He belongs to Karimnagar district.
The United States troops are controlling the air base and Kabul Air Port currently and no passenger and civilian flights are being allowed currently.
While the family members are worried about their situation there, the two Telugu people are hoping to get out of the nation soon.
India which had evacuated the two batches of diplomats and officials successfully in Air Force aircrafts is waiting for the passenger flights to resume operations.
Once the flight services resume, the Indian nationals and those who want to visit India will also be brought here.
The Ministry of Home Affairs had announced new policy for those who want to come to India. Under the new Visa policy, the applicants can apply for visa through online.
The required documents mentioned by the Ministry should be uploaded by the applicants. More details would be announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs soon.
Adding fuel to the fears of people, Taliban leader Waheedullah Hashimi said that Afghanistan will do away with democracy and the country will be ruled by Sharia or Islamic law. A council will be set up to look after the governance, he said.
