Uber Driver lands in trouble, with App failing to recognise him after he tonsured his head

Devotees visit religious places and offer their hair with a strong belief that the practice will help them come out of their difficulties and problems. However, a person landed in deep trouble after tonsured his head as he lost his job.
Going into detail, a person named Srikanth is an employee of Uber for the past one and a half years. He recently visited the holy shrine of Tirupathi and got his head tonsured.
However, after returning to work, Srinakth was unable to work as he was not recognised by the Uber app, reason his head was tonsured. The Uber driver had 1,428 trips under his name.
Seeing the struggles of Srikanth, the Telangana Gig and Platform Workers Union (TGPW) urged Uber to look into errors 8in the app and compensate the drivers who were affected with similar issues.
Talking about the problem, Shaikh Salauddin, President of TGPW said, Srinakth is visiting the officer for more than one month to resolve his problem. But in vain. Several other employees are also facing some issues with the technical glitches, he said.
He said that they have reached out to the cab service aggregators to look into the issues faced by the employees working for these service providers and work on resolving the issues as soon as possible.
