Ulaganayagan To Contest Lok Sabha Polls

Kamal Haasan made it clear Makkal Needhi Maiam will be contesting 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. He told his political party would also contest in the by-elections for 20 Assembly Constituencies.
The 'Viswaroopam' Star didn't rule out alliance with like-minded parties. He, however, is against maintaining ties with parties which change the colors like a chameleon. 'We wish to bring a change in the Tamil Nadu Politics. Development of Tamil Nadu is our ultimate goal,' he told.
In February 2018, Kamal Haasan launched his political party in Madurai. He appears to be more serious politician than Rajinikanth who kept dragging his political entry for over a decade. It will be interesting if Thalaivar shows the courage to contest 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. As of now, Superstar seems to be in a mood to delay the party launch till 2020 and aim for victory in Tamil Nadu Assembly Polls.
