Uma Madhava Reddy resigns to TDP

Along with her son Sandeep Reddy who was Yadadri Bhuvanagiri TDP President, She wishes to join the ruling TRS for the sake of development in the Telangana State. The resignation letter was sent to TDP National President Chandrababu Naidu.
On Thursday, Uma Madhava Reddy and Sandeep Reddy will join TRS in the presence of Telangana CM KCR.
In her resignation letter, Uma Madhava Reddy mentioned TDP has respected her very much by offering posts in the party and government. Saying that her family had decades long association with TDP, She claimed to have resigned due to present situation of the party in Telangana.
Uma Madhava Reddy worked as TDP Minister in United AP. Naxals had killed her husband and former Home Minister A Madhava Reddy. She contested by-election after the demise of her hubby and handled few portfolios in TDP rule. She unsuccessfully contested on TDP Ticket from Bhuvanagiri. Since the past one month, She has been holding talks with her followers to join TRS. There is a possibility of TRS Leadership nominating Uma Madhava Reddy to Rajya Sabha.
