KCR's Rakhi Sister To Quit TRS?
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 Oct 2018 3:12 PM ISTTula Uma isn't only the TRS Party's Women-wing President but also the first woman ZP Chairman of Karimnagar District. She is more like a Sister to KCR and keeps tying rakhi to the TRS Supremo every year during Raksha Bandhan. Such a Leader was denied MLA Ticket by TRS Leadership.
The 46-Year-Old aspired to contest from Vemulawada Constituency on TRS ticket. However, KCR preferred Sitting MLA Ramesh Babu though people of the constituency aren't happy with him as he believes Welfare Schemes will fetch victory. Upset with denial of ticket, She is now considering contesting either on Congress or BJP Ticket in the upcoming Assembly Polls.
On the other hand, Choppadandi Sitting MLA Bodige Shobha was denied ticket by KCR and even lobbying didn't fetch any result. She had already met Telangana BJP President Laxman to express her willingness to contest again from Choppadandi if the ticket is allotted to her.
TRS faced criticism for lack of representation for women, who account to almost 50 percent of the population, in the State Cabinet. If Women Leaders like Bodige Shobha and Tula Uma quit the ruling party, Certainly its gonna send wrong indications to the public. Recent developments indicate there won't be representation for women in the cabinet yet again if TRS retains power.
