Open Debate: Undavalli Vs Buchaiah Chowdary!

Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar made it clear he is ready to prove the allegations made by him against irregularities in Pattiseema Lift-Irrigation Project. He challenged TDP Government to come for an open-debate.
TDP Senior Leader Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary threw a counter-challenge to Undavalli by asking him whether he is ready for an open debate in the presence of Farmers on July 18th. Subsequently, Undavalli accepted the counter-challenge and thanked Gorantla for accepting his challenge.
Speaking to media persons, Undavalli opined Buchaiah Chowdary is yet to clarify if the debate is on Prakasam Barrage or near it. 'I can prove that Pattiseema is a useless project. Polavaram Head-Works Construction costs Rs 4,200 crore. Pattiseema and Purushothapatnam Lift-Irrigation Projects would cost Rs 3,200 crore. Had if this amount was spent for Polavaram, 70 percent of the Head Works have been completed by now. GOs issued by Government on Pattiseema are blatant lies. CAG Report proved Pittiseema resulted in the loss of Rs 391 crore for AP Government. Had if Rs 115 crore was offered to Telangana Government, Pulichintala would have been completed by now. TDP Government deliberately delayed it as it's the project begun by YSR. Pattiseema has been taken up only for cash bags. National Water Development Authority (NWDA) report says Pattiseema is no way connected to inter-linking of rivers. They questioned how can rivers be linked without a reservoir'.
