The Younger Generation hardly knew how the tit-for-tat comments used to be between Topbrass Politicians few decades ago. An interesting incident happened when Bofors Scandal became a hot topic across the nation between 80s & 90s.
What is Bofors Scam? Actually, It's related to the purchase of 155 mm field short guns meant for firing shells on high trajectories. Indian Government-led by then PM Rajiv Gandhi and Sweden Government were accused of receiving kickbacks from a bank named Bofors AB for winning the bid.
Undavalli disclosed about an unusual incident which happened during that period - 'NT Rama Rao made his Party MPs protest against Bofors Scam. TDP Founder called the Bofors Gun as nothing but a 'rusted' fire arm. Then, YSR challenged NTR to stand at a distance beyond the range of the Bofors Gun and then face the bullets from the opposite direction if what he said was true.
