Unhappy Eatala keeps away from BJP's T formation Day

One notable absentee in the BJP celebration of the Telangana formation day is former minister Eatala Rajender. Quite curiously, Eatala, who fought relentlessly for the formation of the separate state, resigned thrice for the cause and was part of the first government in Telangana, did not attend any programme of the BJP on Thursday.
He did not attend the programme that the party organized in the party headquarters at Hyderabad. He was not present at the Delhi meet which was anchored by Union Minister G Kishan Reddy. His absence on such a momentous day is being considered significant.
Of late, Eatala is keeping a low profile. He has not been seen in the party forums in the state. Except for the programmes within his constituency of Huzurabad, he is not seen much in Hyderabad. He is said to be quite unhappy with the way the party leaders were marginalizing him in Telangana. He feels that T BJP chief Bandi Sanjay is deliberately ignoring him.
Sources say that he had recently contacted the national leadership with complaints against Bandi Sanjay. He is said to have requested the party's national leadership to make him at least BjP legislature party leader considering his seniority. Though the BJP leaders gave him a patient hearing, they did not give him any guarantee. After this, he has been maintaining a low profile in the party.
Immediately, he cannot leave the BJP. He is not exactly welcome in the TRS. Even in the Congress Party, he has to work under Revanth Reddy, who is not just junior to him, but also was known to be anti-bifurcation all through. So, Eatala does not have much elbow space in politics for now. Hence, he is said to be keeping a low profile.
