Farm Bills Row: Union Agriculture Minister Offers To Hold Talks With Farmers

The other day, the cops even used tear gas on the farmers who are staging protests to protest against the farm bills. The protests are getting intensified with each day passing.
As the latest development in the farm bills row, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar urged the farmers to end their protests and offered to meet them next week.
The Newsagency ANI quoted Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar as saying, the government is ready to discuss the farmer issues. We invited them to hold talks.
Its been more than one month since the farmers have been protesting against the three farm bills introduced by the Union Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Union government hailed the farm bills and said, the farm bills will transform the agriculture sector completely. The government said, the farmers will receive the needed modernisation.
The Union government introduced three bills, The Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020; The Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 and The Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill, 2020 in October.
