Covid-19 Vaccine In India: Nearly 30 Cr People To Be Vaccinated In 6-7 Months!

India's caseload of Coronavirus surpassed the mammoth one core mark on Saturday, raising many fears and concerns about the spread of the respiratory disease in the country.
Amid this tense situation, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan announced that in the coming six to seven months, India will inoculate nearly 30 crore people.
Talking about the Coronavirus situation in the country, the Union Minister said, though the infections have gone over one crore, more than 95 lakh patients have been recovered so far.
"India's recovery rate, which is 95.46 percent, is one of the highest recovery rates in the world", he said.
He went on to say that, the scientists and health experts in the country have worked vigorously on vaccine development and manufactured an indigenous vaccine.
Currently, three vaccines are under trial stages in India. Covaxin, developed by Bharat Biotech and ICMR, ChAdOx1 (Oxford University-Astra Zeneca in partnership with Pune-based Serum Institute of India, and ZyCoV-D (Zydus Cadila) are under the trial stage and expected to roll out the vaccine very soon.
