After Noodles, Nestle Pasta found Unsafe!

Tests at State-Owned Food Testing Laboratory in Uttar Pradesh proved Nestle Pasta is unsafe for consumption. This would be another big blow for Nestle which is already facing enough issues for presence of excess lead content in its noodles.
Samples of Nestle Pasta collected from a local distributor were sent to Food Testing Laboratory in Lucknow on June 10th. The lead was found to be much more than permissible limit in the macron pasta. While the standard limit was 2.5 PPM (Parts Per Million), Nestle Pasta contain 6 PPM.
Food and Drug Administration Mau includes Nestle Pasta in 'unsafe food category' and notices were issued to the company over the led content.
Meanwhile, Nestle India claims all of its products were safe for consumption and it is unaware of the tests conducted on Pasta samples in Lucknow laboratory.
