UPA Meets At Last, Two More Hours Drama On Telangana

With pressure being high on Congress from both Telangana and Seemandhra politicians, a decision on separate statehood is likely to be evolved in two more hours.
Including Sonia, Rahul, Chidambaram, Digvijay, Sushil Shinde, Farook Abdullah, Sharad Pawar and Ajith Singh have attended the UPA co-ordination panel meeting at PM ManmohanÂ’s residence. After this UPA meet, Sonia is likely moving for the CWC meeting after which an announcement regarding Telangana is expected, and this may happen by 6 pm today. Some supporters of UPA on the other hand are not supporting the cause of Telangana, while oppositions like BJP are giving nod to support Telangana Bill in the coming sessions of Parliament.
In another development, union home minister Sushil Shinde stated that there is no question of serious situation in Andhra Pradesh and confirms no additional forces are sent to Andhra region. With time for decision inching fast, pressure is mounting up across Andhra Pradesh about which Shinde said that a decision may come or may not come today.
