Why LK Advani threatened to resign?

BJP senior leader LK Advani expressed his anguish over the complete washout of the Winter Session of Parliament on Thursday. 'I feel like resigning,' he commented.
Soon after Speaker Sumitra Mahajan adjourned the House for the day following the protests by Opposition Parties over demonetisation, Advani shared his views with Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani. Then, Irani invited Home Minister Rajnath Singh to join them. But, Mr.Singh hardly did anything other than giving a patient hearing to the outburst of the Veteran.
LK Advani told Rajnath Singh to inform Lok Sabha Speaker that she must ensure proceedings go on smoothy Tomorrow and there should be a debate on demonetisation. He warned that entire Winter Session would be washed out if discussion doesn't happen on Friday and it will be a defeat of Parliament. Advani opined neither Speaker nor Parliamentary Affairs Minister were keen to run the House. He advised MPs not to treat the debate as victory or defeat for their side.
