The Former Cricketer was accused of being the National Cricketer Academy Director while serving as the Vice-President of India Cements Group which owns IPL Franchise Chennai Super Kings.

Even Harbhajan Singh felt bad about the way Legendary Cricketers of Indian Cricket were treated by the BCCI: 'Really ?? Don't know where it's heading to. You can't get better person than him for indian cricket. Sending notice to these legends is like insulting them. Cricket need their services for betterment. yes god save indian cricket'.
BCCI's Ombudsman-cum-Ethics Officer Justice (Retd) DK Jain served Conflict of Interest notice to Dravid after receiving a complaint from Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association life member Sanjeev Gupta. A decision will be taken by the board based on Dravid's reply to the notice.
In the past, Sanjeev Gupta filed conflict of interest complaints against Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman as well.
