Urmila Matondkar Says She Is Not A Leader Who Sits In AC And Tweets

Yesteryear actress and politician Urmila Matondkar, shifted her loyalties to the ruling Shiv Sena from Congress keeping an end to just months after joining the Congress. Due to disputes within the party, she shifted to Shiv Sena.
Talking about her decision to quit Congress, Urmila said she doesn't have any regrets about quitting Congress and she had the highest regard for the leadership of the Congress party.
Adding further, she said, she had declined the offer given by the Congress party over the Maharashtra legislative council seat, as she has accepted the offer given by the Shiv Sena party.
"I just do not want to sit in AC rooms and Tweet…I know what I have to do and how to do and I will keep learning," the actor-turned-politician said.
She called the MVA government led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was brilliant and said the government did well on the welfare of people, despite the Covid-19 outbreak and natural disasters.
