US Consulate Cautions @ TRS Meeting

US Consulate cautioned it's citizens to be aware of massive public meeting planned by TRS on the outskirts of Hyderabad on September 2nd.
If the estimated 25 lakh people arrive to the Pragathi Nivedhana Sabha, Traffic Police could impose several restrictions and road diversions in the roads leading to the venue of the meeting. US Consulate want the Americans staying in Telangana to keep such aspects in mind.
A suggestion has been made to avoid traveling in the areas where rallies or demonstrations were held. US Citizens were asked to follow the updates provided by the Local Media on Sept 2nd to avoid trouble. US Embassy and Consulate issued Telephone Numbers so that people in need of any help can contact them.
