US President Donald Trump To Laud US-Mexico Border Wall
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Jan 2021 4:45 AM GMTUS President Donald Trump is expected to visit the US-Mexico border on Tuesday to mark his administration's efforts and admire the achievement of the 400 miles of the border wall between the US and Mexico.
Seven days before unwillingly leaving office, Trump will pay a visit to the border in South Texas on January 12 to laud partial construction of the massive wall he promised to deliver. This was his important highlight from his 2016 campaign. He extensively campaigned about the border wall in and promised that Mexico would pay for the wall. However, Mexico didn't spend a penny on it and everything has been paid for by US taxpayers.
As per the reports, some 452 miles has been built about 12 miles. This could be his last official visit as the President of the United States. His visit will also be the president's first public appearance since the violent siege of the U.S. Capitol.
Meanwhile, Democrats in the House are launching for an impeachment vote next week and are preparing to formally submit their proposal Monday with a vote likely by Wednesday.
