Amid fear of the novel Coronavirus outbreak, a majority of voters have opted to exercise their voting right through early voting, local American media reports claimed.
It has been reported that as much as over 84 million people have cast their votes in early voting. Over 23.3 million voters have exercised their vote in person, while over 52.4 million mail-in ballots were returned across the nation.
A recent survey said a major share of Joe Biden supporters want to cast their vote through the mail, while a majority of Donald Trump's supporters are in favour of in-person voting.
Despite Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden being ahead in some states compared to Donald Trump, it is hard to estimate who will win the polls as some states start counting mail-in ballots till the polls get completed.
On the other hand, some states start counting the mail-in ballots before the Presidential elections. So to know who wins the elections, we may have to wait a few more days.
