US Reports 5,000 Deaths Due To COVID-19

The US witnessed the highest day-one deaths in the last 24 years raising many concerns and fears related to the deadly virus. This makes the death toll of the US highest than China where 3,316 deaths were recorded.
The official data states that the US tops the list of the countries with the most positive cases with 215,417 while lagging behind Spain and Italy when it comes to the death count.
"we're going to have a couple of weeks, starting pretty much now, but especially a few days from now, that are going to be horrific," US President Donald Trump said.
